Croydon Pavillion

A beautifully crafted family pavilion extending from a classic Californian Style bungalow, designed to feel as though it has always belonged. The new addition follows the scale and rhythm of the original home, allowing the heritage façade to remain the hero while contemporary living spaces open gently to the garden beyond.

At the heart of the project, a small courtyard marks the moment between old and new. A single Japanese Maple filters light and casts shifting shadows across this threshold, creating a sense of pause and quiet connection. Framed views to the sky and landscaped gardens invite nature into everyday life, resulting in a home that feels grounded, generous and deeply attuned to its setting.
